Jérôme Collet Jérôme Collet comes from a French provincial bourgeoisie family.

In 1987, at the age of 20, something clicked: he wanted to sing!

After a few singing lessons, he took part in radio crochets. In 1996, after appearances on regional television in Normandy, he sang his first song on Pascal Sevran's TV show “La chance aux chansons”. Numerous appearances on this show followed.

In 1992, he took part in the “Grand prix de France de la chanson Française” at Bercy, where he sang in front of 15,000 people.

At the time, his repertoire was that of the 40s and 50s. He recorded almost 140 titles, and took part in CD reissues of the repertoire with UNIVERSAL. These are his first records, which are on sale here.

His life then took a different direction, and he left the music business in 2007. To mark the 50th anniversary of Maurice Chevalier's death, he returned to the studio to record the hits the latter had recorded in Hollywood in the 30s, accompanied by a full orchestra.
